Hello, The Computer Science Club held its elections for the Spring 2025 term and a Minecraft Lan party in-person and virtually on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 7:00PM EDT (UTC-4). The new President, Vice-President, Assistant Vice-President, Treasurer and Systems Administrator are as follows: Prez: Dundee Zhang VP: Sourojeet Adhikari AVP: Shaurya Suri Trez: Mincy Yang Sysadmin: Ohm Patel We have an exciting lineup of events planned for this term, including (but not limited to) BOT, Trivia, Code Olympics, Leetcode competitions, EOT, and much more! A big thank you to everyone who took part in this term's CSC elections. We look forward to seeing you at the events this term! Hello, The Computer Science Club will be holding elections for the Spring 2025 term in-person and virtually on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 7:00PM EDT (UTC-4). The location of the in-person event will be DC 1350. Virtual attendees can join the Stage Channel on our Discord server (csclub.ca/discord<https://csclub.ca/discord>). The President, Vice-President, Assistant Vice-President, and Treasurer will be elected whilst the Systems Administrator will be appointed by the new executives and ratified by vote at the election. If you wish to nominate yourself or anyone else for any of these positions, please do so via one of the following methods: 1. Send an email to cro(a)csclub.uwaterloo.ca<mailto:cro@csclub.uwaterloo.ca>, 2. Present your nomination in-person to the CRO (Andrei Stan), or 3. Write your name on the whiteboard in the CSC office (MC 3036/3037). Nominations will close on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 9AM EDT (UTC-4). The CRO will reach out to nominees for their platform. If you are unable to attend the elections live (in-person or virtually), you may email cro(a)csclub.uwaterloo.ca<mailto:cro@csclub.uwaterloo.ca> by Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, at 7:00PM EDT (UTC-4) to request an absentee ballot. In-person voting will be done via anonymous ballot and virtual voting (both through virtual attendance and absentee ballots) will be done via form submission only identifiable by the CRO to ensure validity of votes. You must be a CSC member for the Spring 2025 term in order to run for a position or vote in the election. You can find more details about becoming a member or renewing your membership on our website at csclub.uwaterloo.ca<https://csclub.uwaterloo.ca/>.
