This is a notification to inform you of unscheduled downtime for the CSC Cloud (https://cloud.csclub.uwaterloo.ca) due to hardware failure. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this issue.
Downtime Details:
Duration: Until the beginning of the Spring term
Affected Services:
- CSC Cloud VMs (not accessible)
- Cloudstack panel (not accessible / inoperable)
Additional Information:
Users who have recently activated their account or created VMs may encounter login issues or be unable to access the Cloudstack panel, even if it becomes temporarily available.
Users should not attempt to create or delete VMs, as this may cause sync issues when restoring the service.
