We are currently looking for an individual to help develop a web-based portal that will serve as part of a study on the effectiveness of a self-monitored, goal-driven, activity prescription programme for patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease. The portal will be intended for the average internet-user, and will handle user-entered data to calculate various health measurements and scores, while acting as a hub for web and e-mail-delivered feedback and health content.
We will be offering paid remuneration, which will be negotiated along with the duration of the project. There is also a possibility of making the position part of a work-study or co-op program. The ideal candidate should have experience in web page development and computer programming, particularly the Ruby On Rails and/or .NET frameworks.
