I am looking for energetic and passionate programmers to join me in
launching a mobile based recommendation app.
I am seeking someone with big data experience, specifically someone
familiar with clustering algorithms and other methods of generating
recommendations.
I am also seeking an Android app design guru, someone with extensive front
end design experience and a deep knowledge of the Android OS.
Both positions would be full time with compensation being paid in cash,
equity, or a mixture of both. The work will be based out of the Communitech
Hub and will start October 1st with no fixed end date.

This year, TELUS is organizing an Information session and an Open House for new grads to learn about the opportunities available in our Graduate Engineering & Leadership Program, which is a three year rotational program, under the Technology Strategy & Operations (TSO) business unit. We also have another rotational program focused on computer science, called the Technology Leadership and Development Program (TLDP). We are targeting undergraduate and graduate students in all engineering and computer science streams. We would like to invite UW fourth year students to attend these events, through this opportunity students get to network with other EITs, UW alumni, managers and directors at TELUS.
