Quantitative trading firm is looking for a skilled CS grad || student to join team and build low-latency order routing infrastructure & algorithms in either a project or full-time capacity.
You: • know multithreaded programming (IPC, semaphores, concurrency) • know Network programming, protocols, and distributed architectures • work (mainly) on the command line and are good with bash, awk, sed, perl, piping commands and scripting • code in OO c++ or Java with STL/Boost or Apache equivalents using polymorphic ADT • have an interest in high-performance computing, correspondingly use appropriate data structures, care about cache misses, pollution and branching predictions (in critical code sections) • actually use man pages • understand the basics of regression and time-series forecasting • have been at MC past 10pm on a Friday night
