We will discuss as well the skillsets that will be important in order to perform well in those environments. This will be followed by some details on a recently run completely-online graduate course on AI in uWaterloo's Cheriton School of CS and the feedback received from students about the value of this experience. We will then explore enabling more opportunities for online synchronous teaching within the Bachelor of Computer Science program here, specifically discussing the potential for some valued learning to emerge from two courses in our undergrad program that are less lecture-based and are more discussion-oriented. The event will serve both to educate about important current workplace trends and to gauge student interest in additional learning opportunities.
