Greetings,

Do you love making games? Are you intrigued by the challenges of making truly cross platform, high performance web games that scale?

We have a limited number of funded graduate research positions, and undergraduate part time jobs, available to work on making games as part of research with the Waterloo Games Institute. The positions require skill with html and Javascript. Familiarity with Javascript libraries/languages like three.js and D3.js, CSS3, and knowledge of other programming languages, particularly Python and Java, is an asset.

You get to work with a great team, and learn about exciting research, while showcasing your web development skills, and helping to make a new generation of game.

We have very flexible hours and can structure the work around your school schedule.

Additional details on the Games Institute are available here: https://uwaterloo.ca/games-institute/.

You can apply by emailing a resume and brief cover letter to k.w.robinson@gmail.com, cc'ing Shawn DeSouza-Coelho at shawnathanddc@hotmail.com with the subject line "Game Developer Position Inquiry."

Sincerely,
Kirsten Robinson
