On Monday, Feb 4, 11:30am-1:30pm, in the Laurel Room, South Campus Hall, there will be a talk about supercomputing, including an overview of the supercomputing industry, some of the toughest problems in supercomputing, "Big Data", and other related topics.

This event is sponsored by Xyratex, and we will also be happy to describe the part that Xyratex plays in the world of supercomputing, and how you can participate.

Officially this is our "Information Session" geared to prospective co-op students for the Spring term, but we've also made it open to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering majors who are nearing graduation and will be looking for full-time employment later in 2013.

Lunch will be provided.

Co-op job positions are posted on JobMine. Xyratex will be conducting interviews on Feb 14.

Regards,
chris
