Nspire’s Discovery Series Waterloo has partnered with the City of Kitchener, Conrad, Startup Laurier, EntSoc, Enactus Laurier, Laurier Consulting Club and Laurier Launchpad to bring you our biggest hackathon yet!
24 Hour Startup is calling all makers, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, creators, innovators and developers! The City of Kitchener will be providing Open Data for all teams to use. This is a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs to use city data for innovative ideas and for hackers to build open data applications and experience the startup life in just 1 weekend. In addition to this, there will be networking, mentorship, experiential learning and not to mention $3,000 in cash prizes!
Prizes are awarded to the top 3 winners:
1st Prize: $1500 Cash + Mentorship from Communitech Startup Services
2nd Prize: $1000 Cash
3rd Prize: $500 Cash
Tickets are $20 and meals will be provided. Please note that Thursday is the last day to buy tickets.
