This is just a reminder about the upcoming WOWZAPP Hackathon at the end of this week! T-5 days. The anticipation and preparation for this event is full-speed and there is a great opportunity to get a head-start with downloading Windows 8 via UW's Dreamspark subscription and the available Camp-In-A-Box to get you started with W8 App development.
Microsoft is organizing the world’s first worldwide hackathon for Windows – WOWZAPP 2012. This event will be running in countries all around the globe – all on the one weekend – November 9-11 allowing developers and designers in the world to come together with one goal – to have fun, network, learn and to build apps and games for Windows. Microsoft is aiming to land this event in the Guinness book of World records as the largest event of its kind!
WOWZAPP 2012 will be held at the University of Waterloo as well! This is a great opportunity for you to build some applications for Windows 8 and get into a fresh new market with a guaranteed large audience. You can be part of a record breaking event and earn lots of prizes. You don’t want to miss this chance with the Developer Movement kicking off and spots running out quickly!
