I hope you enjoyed your reading week? Today we have a social event; we're going outside with Women in Computer Science! The event starts at 6PM at the Columbia Lake 2 Firepit (top-left dot in https://uwaterloo.ca/economics/sites/ca.economics/files/uploads/files/firepit_map_oct_2012.pdf). There will be frisbees, a campfire, pitas, s'mores, hot chocolate, and other snacks. Hope to see you there!

Also, come out to a Feminism in STEM 101 panel next Tuesday, with Dr. Prabhakar Ragde speaking and Fatema Boxwala moderating. The event takes place next Tuesday at 5:30 PM in QNC 1507. Discussion will include how feminism is useful in STEM and there will be plenty of time for that nagging question you want to bring. There will be food and we're in a fancy QNC room!
